of departure of CHECCHI & MAGLI. The company premises, like
the origin of the two founders, is located at Budrio, in the
province of Bologna, an area with a strong farming vocation,
especially potato growing.
The CHECCHI & MAGLI potato machine line consists of potato
planters, vibro-ridgers and potato harvesters and stands out
for its ease-of-use, cost effectiveness and extreme
flexibility even in the most difficult situations.
The history of these products is marked by top quality
standards and operating warranties.
Numerous tests have shown that
plastic film reduces water evaporation and
consumption and increases the efficiency of the
water used.
For this purpose, the AL-S14 combined bed
forming-plastic film laying machine carries out
several operations at the same time. It prepares
the soil, compacts it and levels it, before laying
the plastic film and ridging.
This way, the quality of nutritive solutions is
maintained, with consequent better growing
conditions, drainage quality and distribution of
roots, and therefore of plants as a whole.
The growing popularity of plastic
film in agriculture depends on a series of factors of
an agronomic and environmental nature.
The PLASTIC STOP units are a part of this
trend, ensuring excellent film laying and one or more
irrigation lines.
Working widths extend to max 140 cm or 190 cm.
Both PS14 and PS19 versions can be
coupled to WOLF system transplanters for laying
film and transplanting all in one go.
All the PLASTIC STOP models use nylon, paper
and cellulose film, including biodegradable.
